About
GoodieBox is a doggy-bag solution designed to minimise wastage when eating out at restaurants and encourage those who are well off to make small donations that can feed people in need.

As a new initiative from Everybody Eats, a restaurant that provides free meals for those less fortunate, GoodieBox aims to increase donations to develop similar restaurants across the country.

As the UX lead, I collaborated closely with our creative director and 3D artist to ideate a visual solution and campaign to bring the box to life and simplify the digital experience of donating.

The problem
Our charitable organisation are having trouble raising awareness and getting donations because their channels are limited to digital advertising, word of mouth and in-store visits. If we can solve this problem, it would impact kiwis in need positively by increasing donations to fund free meals and new restaurants across the country. It would also benefit our business by creating new revenue streams without the need for in store donations and leveraging other restaurants to help build awareness of the cause.
The solution
We envision a digital story-telling solution, that guides users through a journey to quickly and effectively understand our organisations cause, with an effective conversion to donate via a seamless and straight forward user experience.
