About
The Seekers NFT is a collection of over 47,000 game-ready friendly robots, designed to function as nodes of communication within the open Metaverse, powered by the $SYLO token. Sylo created The Seekers as a means to overlay storytelling and gamification on top of their decentralised comms network to make setting up nodes fun, interactive and educational - a task rewarded in the form of tokens that has traditionally been exclusive to those who have the technical experience to do so.

As the design lead, I spearheaded the product vision and strategy, envisioning the future of the Sylo network in the short, medium, and long term. My role involved conceptualising a solution for The Seekers game, driving network growth while maintaining token availability for incentivisation.
The opportunity
Our Metaverse enthusiasts & NFT / token investors are wanting to have fun and contribute to the open Metaverse because they value community, want to be involved, earn, and contribute to a decentralised network. If we can solve for this opportunity, it would impact Seeker & Sylo holders and the wider decentralised Metaverse positively by engaging degens and early adopters through gamification and enticing them into running servers and earning rewards. It would also benefit our business by Sylo and Seekers gaining adoption, growth, retention and a functioning decentralised communications network utilising the SYLO token.

Key journeys
The core product consists of three journeys for distinct user types:


1. (All Seeker Holders) Seeker Activation: The first step in The Seekers' gamification. Seeker holders are prompted to visit the site, upgrade their Seeker, and enhance its value.
2. (Tech-Savvy Users & Gamers) Node Setup and Management: Users with technical expertise and gaming enthusiasts can set up and manage Seeker Nodes. They can easily calculate their earnings, follow a straightforward node activation process, and enjoy low-touch management with occasional top-ups.
3. (Degens and Token Investors) Node Staking: Users who seek to earn rewards without the commitment of running a node can stake against an existing node. By staking against a friend's node, they improve their own wealth along with that of the node runner.

The solution
We are envisioning an immersive, personalised and hyper-gamified stake to earn experience that leverages The Seekers NFT as a storytelling device to excite, educate and guide our current Seeker holders through the process of setting up node infrastructure.

This will be the initial release before the launch of The Seekers game and the second iteration of the Sylo network.
